Job summary

Acuity International seeks a Senior Cost Consultant to perform cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. You will lead project teams, maintain schedules, and provide direction to discipline engineers, ensuring quality results and timely delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, 10+ years of experience, and CCP certification (AACE). You will develop budgets, prepare cost reports, analyze data, and support project managers while upholding our mission

Qualifications

US citizen status required.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
Certified Cost Professional certification from AACE International or equivalent (CCP/CEP/CPE).
Knowledge of cost engineering, capital cost and services cost.

Responsibilities

Develop cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards, programs, and reports.
Prepare cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
Assist with scope change management.
Define scope definition requirements for a discipline and coordinate data to conform to the estimate plan.
Develop and verify quantity takeoffs for a discipline or specialty.
Apply unit rates to takeoffs and developed quantities.
Prepare specific budgets and cost reports.
Collect and classify cost engineering data.
Perform data analysis and development.
Support Project Manager / Supervisor / Manager as directed.
