Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis and control activities for complex projects in the United States. The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers and discipline groups to meet project goals and schedules.

The position requires a CCP certification, a bachelor’s in engineering or construction management, and 10+ years of related experience. Strong analytics, leadership, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) from AACE International or similar certification.
• Knowledge in capital cost and services cost.
• Knowledge of scope change management.
• Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction systems, and startup work processes.
• Proficiency in multiple discipline-specific software applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards and reports.
• Prepares cost data for projects, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Assists with scope change management and data coordination.
• Develops quantity takeoffs and applies unit rates for disciplines.
• Prepares budgets and cost reports in line with procedures.
• Collects and classifies cost engineering data and performs analyses.
• Leads project team members and supports staff development.
