Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. You will guide quality reviews, manage project relationships, and support staff development while aligning with the company's mission.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in engineering/construction management, 10+ years of experience, and CCP certification, with strong skills in Excel and data analysis, ready to advance project controls and cost leadership roles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
10+ years of relevant experience in related industry.
Certified Cost Professional (CCP) from AACE International or similar certification required.
Knowledge of capital cost and services cost.
Knowledge of scope change management.
Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction systems, and startup work processes.
Proficiency in using multiple discipline-specific software applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develops cost estimating, reporting, and analysis standards, programs, and reports.
Prepares cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
Assists with scope change management and data collection for cost data.
Develops quantity takeoffs and applies unit rates to quantities.
Prepares budgets and cost reports per prescribed standards.
Collects and classifies cost engineering data and performs data analysis.
