Job summary

Cencora, Inc. seeks a highly skilled lawyer with strong Corporate/M&A capabilities to deliver business-oriented legal services and strategic counsel across the global organization. The role requires leading complex transactions, managing diligence, and coordinating with Corporate Development and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Law Degree - must be a graduate of an accredited law school and admitted into the state bar.
• Minimum 4 to 8 years of legal experience with expertise in corporate/M&A or related areas.
• Ability to independently manage domestic and international M&A and strategic transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and interpersonal skills for senior leadership interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice and strategic counseling on significant transactions across Cencora’s global organization.
• Independently manage domestic and international M&A and other transactions from inception through closing and post‑closing integration.
• Draft and negotiate confidentiality agreements, LOIs, definitive agreements and related documents.
• Lead and coordinate due diligence, identify risks and tailor protections.
• Partner with Corporate Development, Strategy, Finance, Tax, and other teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Lead negotiations and manage outside counsel while controlling spend and timelines.
• Communicate effectively with senior leaders and counterparties.
