Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Senior Counsel to deliver strategic legal guidance, uphold integrity, ensure compliance, and manage legal risks across complex EPC projects and regulatory matters in the United States.

You will collaborate with commercial, sales, finance, HR, EHS, and supply chain teams, support investigations, and contribute to global Legal & Integrity initiatives while working remotely.

Qualifications

• JD from a U.S. law school with active bar admission.
• Minimum 10 years PQE with exposure to international legal, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Expertise in contract law and negotiation, including EPC/project contracts, distribution, government contracting, IP, and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end legal support for project business activities, including EPC contracts from tender through negotiation, execution, dispute resolution, and closure.
• Advise and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and protect company interests.
• Manage legal risk across areas including competition law, data privacy, product liability, employment, investigations, and litigation support with global teams.
