Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel to provide strategic legal advice, ensuring compliance and managing legal risk across the organization. You will lead end-to-end support for EPC contracts and collaborate with commercial, sales, finance, HR and other teams from a global stance.

The role requires a US JD with 10+ PQE, expertise in contract and regulatory law, and the ability to work remotely from the United States.

Qualifications

• Must hold a JD from a US accredited law school and be an active bar admitted.
• Minimum 10 years PQE with exposure to international legal, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Experience in EPC/project contracts, distribution agreements, government contracting, IP and digital law.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and influence stakeholders.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end legal support for project activities including EPC contracts through negotiation and closure.
• Advise internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and protect company interests.
• Manage legal risk across competition law, data privacy (GDPR), product liability, investigations and litigation support.
• Contribute to integrity initiatives and regional/global Legal & Integrity teams.
