Happen Bank seeks a Sr Corporate Counsel to guide strategic legal work across consumer lending partnerships and the investor marketplace. You will draft and negotiate complex agreements and advise on lending programs while partnering with Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams.

You will manage transactions, support securitizations, and help navigate a fast-paced, regulated environment with cross-functional collaboration and practical business-focused advice.

Qualifikationen

• J.D. degree and bar admission in good standing.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for complex commercial agreements.
• Experience guiding lending programs, securitizations, and regulatory considerations.

Aufgaben

• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements with strategic partners.
• Develop standardized agreements and negotiation playbooks for onboarding partners.
• Provide day-to-day legal guidance on lending programs, launches, and disputes.
• Support investor onboarding, marketplace operations, and ongoing matters.
• Draft loan sale and servicing agreements and related documents for securitizations.
• Collaborate with Capital Markets, Finance, and outside counsel on transactions.
• Manage lifecycle of transactions and respond to diligence requests and inquiries.
• Maintain knowledge of consumer lending regulations and applicable laws.
