Job summary

Bell & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Controller to build the accounting function from the ground up in a PE-backed platform. This leadership role will own close, reporting, GAAP compliance, and treasury while integrating acquisitions and implementing an ERP/tech stack.

In this high-impact position, you will mentor a growing team, establish scalable processes, and partner with the CFO to scale toward $50M EBITDA with 3–6 acquisitions annually.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience with controllership in a multi-entity environment.
• Experience in PE-backed, acquisitive settings and post-close integration.
• Strong technical accounting expertise across ASC 805, ASC 606, ASC 842.
• ERP implementation experience and system super-user capabilities.
• Leadership of treasury, close, reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process across multiple entities and improve timeliness.
• Lead purchase accounting, opening/closing balance sheets, and PPA (ASC 805).
• Oversee GAAP-compliant financial reporting and treasury management.
• Drive integration of acquired entities' COA mapping, GL migration and ERP onboarding.
• Manage lender reporting and debt covenant compliance.
• Build scalable accounting infrastructure and lead a high-performing team.
