Job summary

Bell & Associates, Inc. seeks a strategic Corporate Controller to build the accounting infrastructure for a PE-backed platform. You will own controllership, close, GAAP compliance, and treasury while integrating acquisitions and implementing the ERP/tech stack across entities.

Lead a high-impact accounting team, deliver monthly packages for the PE sponsor, and scale from first acquisition to substantial EBITDA growth.

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive accounting in a multi-entity environment.
PE-backed, acquisitive experience with post-close integration.
Deep technical accounting: ASC 805, 606, 842, and related standards.
ERP implementation experience; internal super-user capability expected.
Strong communication with PE sponsors, lenders, and executives.

Responsibilities

Lead controllership and close across multiple entities, improving timeliness and accuracy.
Maintain GAAP-compliant books with strong internal controls and documentation.
Oversee AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and intercompany eliminations.
Coordinate audits and tax filings; ensure audit readiness year-round.
Own purchase accounting workstreams for acquisitions (ASC 805).
Drive financial integration of acquired entities within 90 days of close.
Manage treasury, banking relationships, and 13-week cash flow forecasting.
Lead ERP implementation and tech stack onboarding (Aspire, ADP, Ramp, BI).
Develop policies, controls, and COA governance for scalability.
