Job summary

Foster McKay in New Jersey seeks a Senior Analyst, Corporate Accounting to support monthly and quarterly close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations under U.S. GAAP and SOX controls. You will partner with Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Payroll, and FP&A and help drive process improvements.

The role is hybrid (3 onsite days per week: Tue–Thu) and involves supporting ERP updates, automation projects, and cross-functional initiatives to improve reporting quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, month-end close, reconciliations, financial statement analysis, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead journal entries, accruals, and review of complex journal entries for corporate activities.
• Own reconciliations with timely certification and resolution of items.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L variance analyses with explanations.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Payroll, and offshore teams.
• Support monthly and quarterly close processes and audit activities.
• Drive process improvements, ERP transformation, and automation initiatives.
• Identify AI/automation opportunities to reduce manual work while maintaining controls.
