Job summary

Foster McKay in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to manage the month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting for assigned balance sheet areas. You will review actual results for accuracy and provide explanations of variances.

You will oversee quarterly reconciliations, support external auditors, challenge assumptions, and guide analysts. Strong US GAAP and SOX knowledge and SAP S/4HANA/SAC, Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX regulations, and global finance operating models.
• Experience with month-end close, forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Proven ability to work with cross-border teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month end close, forecasting and budgeting processes for assigned areas of the balance sheet.
• Review and oversight of quarterly account reconciliations and deliverables to financial reporting and the external auditors.
• Challenge forecast and budget assumptions and activity for reasonableness.
• Provide guidance to analysts.
• SOX compliance for account related control.
• Prepare and/or review support for internal and external audit requests.
• Collaborate with Shared Service Center to transition and manage transactional responsibilities and ensure process compliance.
