Job summary

Foster McKay is seeking a dynamic Corporate Accounting Manager to lead month-end closes and oversee daily general ledger operations. You will review journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany activity, while driving process improvements and automation.

The role requires a strong GAAP background, Excel proficiency, and experience with SAP and Lease Query. Collaboration with FP&A, IT, and external auditors is essential, along with supervising staff and delivering accurate financial

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Accounting Manager or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and regulations.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP and Lease Query is a plus.
• Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Must be accountable, team player, and work with urgency.
• Ability to manage multiple high-volume transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist month-end close to ensure timely, accurate journal entries.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries incl. accruals, intercompany, FX/CTA, depreciation, amortization.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation.
• Identify process improvements and drive automation.
• Assist in quarterly/annual financial statements and footnotes per GAAP.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and tax consultants.
• Collaborate with FP&A for monthly/quarterly forecasting of assets/liabilities.
• Supervise assigned staff and support professional growth.
