Job summary

OBR Management is seeking a Service Superintendent to lead cooling tower service and preventative maintenance programs nationwide. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction while coordinating with engineering, project management, purchasing, and service management teams.

Travel is extensive depending on project location; excellent leadership and collaboration skills are required to deliver high-quality service on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of field cooling tower service experience.
• OSHA 10/30 certifications.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Rigging, forklift, and man-lift certification.
• Knowledge of Windows-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices; stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
• Interface with clients and oversee all aspects of service projects.
• Supervise, mentor, and train field technicians, Foremen, Leadmen, and crews.
• Conduct safety orientations and enforce OBR/industry standards.
• Manage service materials, equipment rentals, and job supplies.
• Oversee service processes, subcontractor progress, and project schedules.
• Prepare service and time reports; complete job closeout documentation to ensure client satisfaction.
• Monitor budgets, profitability, and adherence to scope and specifications.
• Lead pre-service meetings and coordinate with supervisory, engineering, and supplier personnel to resolve issues.
• Contribute to bid strategies, project planning, and problem-solving.
• Plan and manage projects ranging from inspections to large, complex jobs.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
