Job summary
Performance Team is seeking an experienced Technical Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. This role performs advanced troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of conveyor systems and facility support equipment.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, deep experience with conveyors, and the ability to diagnose complex failures.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in warehouse/distribution.
- Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Experience with troubleshooting tools including multimeters.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical issues on material handling equipment.
- Maintain and repair conveyors, sortation gearboxes, motors, sensors.
- Inspect and repair facility equipment like balers, air compressors.
- Test equipment after repairs for safe operation.
- Assist with installation and modification of conveyor systems.
- Document maintenance in CMMS and manage parts.
- Follow safety and compliance requirements.
