Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a seasoned Technical Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution setting. This role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of conveyor systems and material handling equipment.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, extensive conveyor experience, and the ability to diagnose complex equipment failures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or automated material handling.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Experience using troubleshooting and diagnostic tools including multimeters.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic controls on material handling equipment.
• Maintain and repair conveyor systems, sortation equipment, gearboxes, motors, VFDs, sensors, bearings, chains, belts, rollers, actuators, cylinders.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment including balers, air compressors, dock equipment, and other warehouse systems.
• Observe equipment, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective solutions.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, rebuild, or replace defective equipment.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure safe operation.
