Job summary
Performance Team in Stockton, CA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility equipment to ensure uptime and reliability.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with conveyor systems, can perform routine troubleshooting, and adheres to safety and efficiency standards.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience working with conveyor systems.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to document work electronically.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, rollers, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, and gearboxes.
- Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Observe equipment operation and identify potential mechanical failures or performance issues.
- Remove, repair, or replace defective components to restore equipment functionality.
- Test equipment following repairs to verify safe and proper operation.
- Assist with installation and modification of conveyors and related equipment.
