Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Design Technologist to shape customer-facing AI conversational experiences. You will design, train, and evaluate agents for SMB customers, collaborating with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and UX designers.

The role emphasizes building simple AI tools, creating golden datasets, and conducting human-in-the-loop evaluations to improve AI-driven features. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 8 years of design experience with 4+ years in conversation design.
• Experience building simple AI tools and agents.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative data and Voices of Customer.
• Knowledge of language modeling and ML frameworks (NLUs, RAG, Claude Code).
• Basic coding skills to create dynamic dialog flows.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve conversational experiences and drive business goals.
• Develop end-to-end conversation principles and design strategies with stakeholders.
• Build AI skills and golden datasets for AI evaluations.
• Conduct offline/online AI answer evaluations with human-in-the-loop.
• Lead multiple projects with deadlines, quality, and metrics.
