Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Design Technologist to shape customer-facing AI conversational experiences for QuickBooks Digital Experiences.

You will design, train, and evaluate AI agents, building simple tools and golden datasets while collaborating with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and UX designers. The role emphasizes human-in-the-loop evaluation, transparent AI features, and hands-on tooling to enhance UX across chatbots and voice assistants.

Qualifications

• 5 years of design experience with at least 4 years in conversation design and 1 year on AI agentic platforms
• Expertise in building simple AI tools to deliver artefacts like golden datasets and analyze trends in user responses
• Knowledge of language modeling and machine learning frameworks (NLUs, RAG, Claude Code)
• Strong ability to synthesize qualitative data with AI to inform insights and recommendations
• Experience creating dynamic dialog-flows using code and Boolean logic
• Undergraduate degree required; certifications in Interaction Design, HCI, Psychology, CS, Prompt engineering or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve customer experiences in conversational products
• Develop end-to-end conversation principles and design strategy with stakeholders
• Build AI skills for generating golden datasets for AI evaluations
• Design experiences that are intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy for diverse users
• Perform offline and online AI answer evaluations with LLM-based judges and human-in-the-loop
• Lead multiple projects with adherence to deadlines and metrics
