Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV seeks a banquet/convention services supervisor to manage meetings and conventions from planning through execution, acting as a team leader in event delivery. You will coordinate space, schedules, and client requirements while directing staff and maintaining guest satisfaction.

The role involves working with Sales Managers, ensuring compliance with policies, and maintaining organized files and client communications for multiple events.

Qualificações

• Deal with guests and team members in a tactful and respectful manner.
• Ability of simple writing, math and complex reading and task completion skills are required.
• Must have clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must obtain and maintain Alcohol Awareness Card.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the planning, execution, and supervision of assigned conventions per the contract and the client’s requirements.
• Attend Banquet Event Order (BEO) and staff meetings and perform as a team leader in the event delivery process.
• Work with Sales Managers and assign appropriate space needed by groups for RFPs and contracts.
• Communicate group specifications to operational departments and ensure implementation of guidelines.
• Track and report group revenues according to established guidelines.
• Coordinate all group business as developed by the sales managers.
• Develop guest profiles and maintain an effective trace system resulting in superior account service.
