Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Convention Services professional to coordinate group events at the Springfield Crowne Plaza. You will plan guest rooms, menus, setups and spaces, and participate in meetings to ensure seamless pre-event, event, and post-event phases.

The role focuses on maximizing revenue, delivering top-tier service, and maintaining brand standards across hotel events in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hotel catering and rooms experience
• Proven track record of a consistent ability to provide quality service
• Leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, upsell and detail the program with the client including verification of space, times, equipment, menus, themes/decorations.
• Monitor Convention Groups Room Requirements to ensure commitments.
• Manage function details and related activities to ensure program requirements are satisfied; handle issues to ensure quality delivery.
• Improve hotel convention services through development of sales tools, menus, themes, and decorations; analyze competition and customer needs.
• Monitor and control event budgets to maximize revenues and minimize expenses while delivering quality.
