Job summary

GALLO is seeking a Controls Technician to maintain, install, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate plant instrumentation and control systems while applying programming knowledge to minimize downtime and improve performance.

You will lead PLC/HMI project adjustments, equipment upgrades, and Kepware changes, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, vendors, and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• BS degree plus PLC controls, logic circuits, pneumatic and electrical equipment experience.
• Technical or HS route with significant PLC experience acceptable.
• Ability to climb stairs/ladders and work at heights; willingness to rotate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate plant instrumentation and control systems.
• Lead PLC and HMI project adjustments and equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and vendors on cost and schedule.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Ensure safety, GMP, and environmental compliance in all assignments.
