Beehive Industries in Colorado is seeking a Lead Engineer, Controls Software to design, develop, and validate gas turbine engine control software and related hardware for advanced aerospace applications.

The role requires strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, embedded software, and control systems; you will lead engineering activities, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across disciplines. Ability to obtain security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
• 8+ years of controls engineering or embedded software experience.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and control law development.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate engine control software and hardware.
• Lead EEC/FADEC integration and develop HIL/SIL environments.
• Analyze test results and drive performance improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support test programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering.
