Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. seeks an on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete control systems projects for assigned customers.

You will manage hardware design, software programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and project closeout, while overseeing budgets, billings and collections. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Technical Associates Degree with two years field experience or four years equivalent related field experience in the HVAC industry.
• Hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls.
• Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to perform work independently.
• If hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no later than start date.

Responsibilities

• Acts as on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete control systems projects.
• Coordinate installation, system programming, commissioning and project closeout.
• Manage costs, billings and collections and pursue change orders.
• Provide work direction to subcontractors, installers, technicians and designers.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance with Johnson Controls policies.
