Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a Controls Systems Engineering Leader to head a team responsible for hardware, software, and network-level commissioning across projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering cost-conscious engineering solutions.

You will drive process standards, provide cost estimates, mentor engineers, collaborate with customers, and select controllers to optimize installation costs while maintaining high-quality designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience, ideally in HVAC and control programming.
• Proven leadership of technical teams.
• Knowledge of cost management and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize the workload of the Systems Engineering Team to ensure timely deliverables.
• Develop clear processes and standards to streamline workflows.
• Provide precise engineering cost estimates during project development.
• Foster continuous improvement across processes, tools, and technologies.
• Provide advanced technical support for application challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers for cohesive execution.
• Lead selection of controllers and devices to optimize installation costs.
• Utilize financial and management reports to evaluate project success.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to enhance project development.
