Job summary

Beehive Industries in Loveland, OH (and Centennial, CO) seeks a Lead Engineer, Controls Software to design, develop, and validate gas turbine engine control software and the related hardware for advanced aerospace applications.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, develop verification strategies, support engine testing, and mentor engineers while advancing additive manufacturing integration and engine performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years in controls engineering, embedded software, or aerospace propulsion.
• Experience with control system development, testing, and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate engine control software and hardware.
• Develop software requirements, models, architectures, and documentation.
• Perform control system analysis, modeling, and tuning.
• Support EEC/FADEC development and HIL/SIL environments.
• Lead test programs, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
