Job summary

Extrevo, a PE-backed high-growth business, seeks an experienced Controller to own day-to-day accounting across entities, drive ERP migrations, and support GAAP adoption. Remote with HQ travel; based in NY or neighboring state, or willing to relocate.

You will report to the VP of Finance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable finance processes for the next growth phase.

Qualifications

• CPA or MBA qualified.
• At least 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including hands-on Controller work.
• Experience in private equity-backed, high-growth environments.
• Experience in multi-entity acquisition integrations.
• Hands-on ERP implementation or migration.
• Strong GAAP accrual accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close, GL accuracy, reconciliations, and multi-entity consolidations.
• Lead ERP implementation including COA design, data migration, workflows, and user testing.
• Prepare reporting packages for PE stakeholders, lenders and Board with audit readiness.
• Support transition to accrual accounting and standardize practices across entities.
• Drive M&A integration, align processes and closing activities across acquired entities.
• Build robust accounting procedures and internal controls; mentor finance staff.
