Job summary

XRHealth, a Boston-based digital health company, seeks a hands-on Controller to own the monthly close for XRHealth and its multi-entity structure. You will manage three staff accountants and coordinate with our outsourced firm to consolidate books and file corporate returns.

This role leads cash and payment controls, intercompany activity, Carta stock‑comp, internal controls, and monthly financial reporting with variance commentary, while hiring and mentoring the accounting team and ensuring US

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years accounting experience, with 2+ years supervising others.
• Hands-on multi-entity month-end close under US GAAP.
• Experience with Ramp, Rippling, and a mid-market GL system.
• Multi-state compliance experience including registrations and payroll.
• Healthcare or clinical services exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly close calendar and approve reconciliations and entries.
• Oversee outsourced accounting firm and intercompany activity.
• Provide monthly financials with variance commentary.
• Manage cash, payments, and bank transfers with approvals.
• Own Carta cap table, stock grants and related expenses.
• Maintain COA, policies, close checklists, and memos.
• Maintain internal controls and approval thresholds.
• Ensure state registrations and tax package reviews.
• Hire, train and develop staff accountants.
• Support ad hoc audits, renewals, and vendor requests.
