Job summary

XRHealth, a Boston-based digital health company, seeks a Controller to own multi-entity monthly closes and consolidate books with the outsourced firm. You will lead three staff accountants, oversee stock compensation via Carta, and maintain strong internal controls.

The role requires US GAAP expertise, CPA preferred, and 7+ years of accounting experience in multi-entity environments. This is a full-time, on-site position based near Needham Heights, MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including supervision.
• Hands-on multi-entity month-end close and consolidation under US GAAP.
• Experience with Ramp, Rippling, and mid-market general ledger systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close for XRHealth and all entities; review reconciliations and journals.
• Lead 3 staff accountants and coordinate with the outsourced firm for consolidation.
• Oversee cash controls, intercompany activity, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage Carta stock compensation and cap table reconciliations.
• Maintain chart of accounts and revenue/expense recognition policies.
• Ensure internal controls, approvals, and access governance.
• Coordinate state registrations, tax packages, and reporting variance.
