Job summary

XRHealth Inc is a Boston-based digital health company pioneering extended reality (XR) therapeutics. This role owns the monthly close for XRHealth and its multiple entity structure, managing 3 staff accountants and serving as the point of contact for our outsourced accounting firm that consolidates the entities and files our corporate returns.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of accounting experience, incl. supervision.
• Hands-on multi-entity month-end close and consolidation under US GAAP.
• Experience with Ramp and Rippling.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Healthcare/clinical services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close end-to-end: ensure accuracy of reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
• Oversee outsourced accounting firm for consolidation and intercompany activity.
• Review and approve cash flows, bills, bank transfers; provide weekly cash position and 13-week forecast.
• Own Carta for stock comp: reconcile cap table, grants, exercises, and expenses.
• Maintain chart of accounts, revenue/expense recognition policies, close checklists, and memos.
• Enforce internal controls: approval thresholds, role separation, and access management.
• Oversee state registrations and tax package review; ensure regulatory filings.
• Deliver monthly financials with variance commentary and payroll/headcount reporting.
• Hire, train, and develop accountants; cover duties during absences.
• Provide ad hoc support for audits, insurance, lenders, and new systems.
