The Controller will own the close, reporting, controls, and infrastructure, partnering with FP&A and operations to ensure timely, accurate results.

This hands-on leadership role requires 8–12+ years of accounting, strong GAAP expertise, and experience in financial services. CPA is highly valued; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifikationen

• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership roles.
• Experience in financial services, broker‑dealer, asset manager, or similar regulated institution.
• CPA and Series 27 completion ideal.
• Experience leading close processes, financial reporting, audit coordination, and internal‑control activities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and internal controls.
• Working knowledge of broker‑dealer regulatory requirements (FOCUS, net capital) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead assigned components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close in partnership with Corporate Controller and accounting leaders.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules across entities and business lines.
• Coordinate preparation and review of GAAP financial statements such as balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow.
• Coordinate with FP&A on variance analysis and explanations for fluctuations versus plan and prior periods.
• Own the preparation and maintenance of footnotes, disclosures, audit schedules, and supporting documentation for internal and external reporting.
• Partner with Corporate Controller on regulatory reporting and related deliverables; lead preparation and data requirements.
