Job summary

Talent Focus Executive Search and Consulting is seeking a Controller to lead day-to-day accounting and financial reporting. Reporting to the CFO, the role combines technical accounting with commercial acumen and strong team leadership.

You will drive month-end close, prepare statements, maintain internal controls, and partner with senior leadership to improve profitability and efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership position in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience at controller level or similar.
• Strong US GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience managing accounting staff.
• Strong ERP and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and policies.
• Maintain general ledger and reconciliations.
• Provide financial insight to senior leadership.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and general accounting activities.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with operational leaders.
• Coordinate audits and assist tax filings.
