Job summary

Performance Trust Capital Partners, LLC in Chicago seeks an experienced Accountant to join our internal finance and accounting team. You will take on expanded ownership across the close process, financial reporting, and cross-functional finance initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in financial services or investment banking.
• CPA or active progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with complex journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes with journal entries for IB/CM revenue, deferred revenue, and related items.
• Prepare, review, and sign off on balance sheet reconciliations within close timelines.
• Lead preparation of PBCs for annual audits and tax filings.
• Analyze and present financial data to support FP&A decisions and managerial reporting.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies with limited oversight.
