Crusoe is seeking a seasoned Control Room Operator to coordinate all on-shift operations at our power facility. This senior role focuses on safe operation across startups and upsets, using DCS to monitor and adjust parameters while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of power plant experience required.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Experience with Distributive Control Systems (DCS).
• Good understanding of chemistry, physics and maths.
• Proven ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Proficient with PC and plant control software.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must have U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-shift operations coordination for safe plant performance.
• Operate and monitor equipment using DCS and adjust parameters.
• Ensure compliance with local/state/federal regs.
• Handle hazardous materials and maintain safety logs.
• Perform chemical analysis on steam, cooling, condensate systems.
• Execute Lockout Tagout using RedTag Pro software.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and prioritize tasks.
• Help develop SOPs to improve efficiency and safety.
• Provide advanced on-the-job training and mentorship.
