Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Control Room Operator to execute approved plant start-up and shutdown procedures, ensuring the facility meets its operational, environmental, and safety commitments in a safe and efficient manner.

You will guide Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators, monitor boiler and turbine operations, and rely on blueprints and P&IDs to manage emergencies with clear directions and sound decisions. Health benefits and 401K match are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam within the first year of holding the position.
• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Effectively monitor Reworld operations systems and have strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations.
• Experienced in reading blueprints, P&ID’s, and schematic specifications.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion at times during emergency, providing clear directions in operational, safety and environmental tasks.
• Respond to operational alarms, taking immediate corrective action.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of operational best practices, including the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that supports Reworld’s safety and operational goals.
