Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Control Room Operator to execute approved plant start-up and shutdown procedures, ensuring the facility meets its operational, environmental, and safety commitments in a safe, efficient manner.

You will guide Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators, monitor boiler and turbine systems, read blueprints and P&ID’s, and respond promptly to alarms with decisive actions. A 12-hour rotating shift and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam within first year of employment.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Effectively monitor boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations.
• Experienced in reading blueprints, P&ID’s, and schematic specifications.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks during emergencies with clear directions.
• Respond to operational alarms, taking immediate corrective action.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of operating best practices and make sound safety decisions.
