Job summary

RTX is seeking a seasoned contract administrator to manage cradle-to-grave contracts, from pre-proposal through closeout, for the US government and commercial work. You will interpret RFPs, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and ITAR/EAR, collaborating with Legal, Finance, Program Management and Supply Chain.

The role requires a strong customer-facing background, experience with OTAs and NDAs, and the ability to mentor junior staff. Located onsite in the US.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience is acceptable.
• Direct experience with customers and government procurement is essential.
• FAR/DFARS and ITAR/EAR familiarity is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage cradle-to-grave contract administration from pre-proposal to closeout.
• Review and interpret RFPs, identify requirements, assess risks, address IP issues.
• Negotiate contracts including FAR/DFARS, OTAs, NDAs, and international agreements.
• Redline and draft terms, SOWs, milestones, cost/price structures, and profit.
• Provide guidance on compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and company policies.
• Collaborate with Program Management, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Identify and mitigate risks; offer alternative strategies when needed.
• Support global trade compliance and ITAR/EAR considerations.
• Provide mentoring to junior contract staff and contribute to team growth.
• Travel on limited basis as required.
