Job summary

RTX BBN Contracts team seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to lead US government and commercial contracting efforts in a hybrid environment across Cambridge MA, Middletown RI, or Rosslyn VA.

You will navigate FAR/DFARS, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and collaborate with program managers, finance, and legal teams to support proposals and contract execution while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with substantial relevant experience.
• Experience with US Government procurement and/or OTAs/NDAs/ACAs.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and related US Government regulations.
• Experience interpreting, preparing and negotiating proposals and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Advise and represent the organization on contract matters and liaise with internal/external customers.
• Review, negotiate, and manage Prime Contracts, Subcontracts, OTAs, NDAs, and other agreements.
• Review proposals, assess requirements/risks, and support cost-volume development and approvals.
• Draft and redline complex terms and conditions, SOWs, milestones, and pricing.
• Negotiate complex contracts and identify risk mitigation options.
• Provide strategic contract analysis and ensure policy compliance.
• Understand forward pricing, cost structures, and ITAR/EAR considerations.
• Support global trade and CUI compliance, travel as needed, and mentorship to staff.
