Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Manager, Contracts (Individual Contributor) in Goleta, CA to partner with PMO, Legal, Engineering and Finance. The role covers contract development, administration and negotiation across CPFF, FFP, FFP-LOE, and OTA contracts for classified and unclassified work.

The position requires leading contracts negotiations, interfacing with customers, and coordinating with the government liaison teams. A Secret clearance is required; relocation support is provided.

Qualifications

• University degree + 8 years experience or advanced degree + 5 years.
• Experience in Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement, Pricing or Finance.
• Experience with US Government Contracts under FAR/DFARS.
• Experience as a contracts lead or leading contract negotiations.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal.
• Own contract management and administration actions across the lifecycle.
• Develop and respond to RFP/BAA, negotiate contracts.
• Interface with customers for changes and issues.
• Mitigate risks by advising on rights, obligations and policy.
• Work with DCMA/DCAA on government contracts.
• Be a team player supporting the Raytheon mission.
• Multitask and communicate across levels of internal and external customers.
