Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery's CNN unit is seeking a Senior Analyst, Content Analytics to help understand how journalism performs, why audiences engage, and how insights can improve content strategy across platforms.

You will work with Editorial, Audience Strategy, Product, Social, Programming, and Revenue teams to translate data into actionable recommendations that inform coverage decisions, audience growth, distribution, and business priorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in content analytics, audience analytics, digital analytics, BI, data science, or related field.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale digital content and audience datasets.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for business, editorial, or leadership audiences.
• Experience applying analytical frameworks, benchmarks, measurement approaches, or recurring methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Content Performance Analysis & Strategy: analyze performance across topics, formats, platforms, and audiences to identify drivers of reach, engagement, loyalty and business value.
• Measurement & Methodology: develop scalable frameworks and benchmarks to evaluate content performance over time and across platforms.
• Stakeholder Partnership & Communication: present findings to editorial, product, audience and business stakeholders in clear, decision-focused formats.
