Job summary

MSL in Chicago is seeking a digitally fluent Senior Account Executive for our Consumer Brands practice. You will help develop and implement social-first ideas and integrated communications programs that break through in culture, and you will lead day-to-day account activities for iconic brands.

You should understand the PESO ecosystem and bring hands-on experience across digital strategy and influencer marketing, from owned social to influencer programs, earned media and paid amplification.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-3+ years in PR, influencer marketing, digital strategy, social or integrated comms; agency experience with CPG/retail brands a plus.
• Strong understanding of PESO model and how earned, shared, owned and paid channels work together.
• Hands-on familiarity with digital/social work from owned content to influencer programs.
• Creative problem-solver with pulse on culture and trends.
• Curiosity about AI/LLM tools and their impact on communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social-first consumer communications programs across PESO; connect earned, owned, influencer, community and paid amplification to client goals.
• Lead influencer/creator strategy end-to-end including talent briefs, content review, direction and reporting; paid media experience a plus.
• Oversee owned social/community work, including content planning and channel activation with cross-functional partners.
• Translate cultural trends into timely ideas and opportunities for clients; monitor culture and platform shifts.
• Harness AI/LLM tools to accelerate research, ideation, drafting and analysis while ensuring credible voices shape brand discovery.
