Job summary

First Financial Bank is seeking a Consumer Banker in Avon, IN to deepen client relationships by booking business directly and by referring to internal partners. You will open accounts, handle teller duties, and support client engagement via calls and conversations.

The role emphasizes compliance, product knowledge, and teamwork to achieve sales, service, and referral goals while delivering the First Financials Experience.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years client service experience in a retail environment.
• 3-4 years sales and service experience with previous success in achieving sales and service goals in retail environment.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• May obtain notary authorization.
• Possesses a strong level of bank product knowledge and solid sales skills.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred and/or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open accounts and perform maintenance.
• Run a Teller drawer as deemed necessary by management.
• Support client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow up.
• Meet and exceed sales, service and referral goals as set by management, by collaborating with team and lines of business.
• Provide digital assistance and service for clients using the online offering.
• Follow compliance and regulatory procedures.
