Accela, Inc. is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Professional Services team in the United States.

The role blends business analysis, requirements facilitation, and hands-on configuration to translate customer needs into actionable implementation artifacts, guiding successful delivery. You will lead workshops, document requirements, and coordinate with technical teams to ensure alignment and a smooth deployment of enterprise software solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements elicitation and stakeholder facilitation in complex implementations.
• Ability to map current-state and future-state business processes to drive design.
• Hands-on experience configuring enterprise software based on discovery.
• Coordinate across cross-functional technical teams to deliver solutions.
• Document requirements using standard techniques (process models, use cases, user stories).

Responsibilities

• Lead structured requirements elicitation activities (workshops/interviews).
• Facilitate discussions to align goals, constraints, and success criteria across stakeholders.
• Document and validate functional/non-functional requirements and business rules.
• Translate requirements into artifacts (process flows, user stories).
• Develop current-state and future-state business processes to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Use business process flows to guide design and implementation decisions.
• Configure systems aligned to approved requirements and best practices.
• Coordinate with technical, data, and integration teams on dependencies.
• Bridge business and technical teams to clarify intents and constraints.
• Guide customers toward standard solutions balancing needs and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to manage scope and risks.
• Support testing/validation including UAT planning and defect triage.
• Contribute to go-live readiness through configuration validation.
