Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a production underwriter to market, underwrite, and process assigned lines of business in a 100% in-office role in the United States. You will work on-site during standard business hours, building strong broker relationships and driving submissions through a robust pipeline.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of underwriting experience, and professional designations (CPCU/IIA) are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPCU and IIA designations strongly preferred.
• Minimum five years underwriting experience with authority.
• Strong negotiation and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze new business and renewal submissions for assigned area.
• Develop and maintain broker relationships and ensure marketing initiatives reach retail/wholesale brokers.
• Participate in client and broker meetings and contribute to submission pipelines.
