Job summary

Bristol Companies in Texas seeks a Senior Superintendent to oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety, on-time, and within-budget delivery. You will supervise workers, subcontractors, and vendors, coordinate with project managers, manage resources, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Proven leadership, scheduling and QA expertise, and experience with large-dollar projects are required.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree may be required.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience, with at least 10 years as a superintendent on projects similar in size and complexity.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with projects ranging from $20M to $50M.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
• Direct field personnel to complete projects on schedule and within budget with quality workmanship.
• Build and maintain construction schedules; identify and solve problems.
• Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary.
• Read and understand project plans and specifications.
• Lead the project team in planning and execution of work plans and submittals.
• Maintain relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and employees.
• Promote job site safety and rectify hazards immediately.
• Ensure adherence to safety policy by all employees and contractors.
• Maintain an organized and clean job site and office.
• Coordinate with Quality Control and Health and Safety reps to meet standards.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, and logistics, with FAR compliance.
• Prepare field reports and project reporting documents.
• Perform constructability reviews and value engineering with design teams.
• Collaborate to generate project schedules; travel as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
