Job summary

Bristol Companies is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee daily operations on site, manage crews, subcontractors, and vendors, and ensure projects meet safety, schedule, and budget goals. The role requires coordinating with project managers and ensuring adherence to plans and codes.

Ideal candidates have extensive field leadership experience on mid-to-large scale builds, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of safe, on-time delivery. Travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction with at least 5 years as a superintendent on similar projects.
• Experience on projects ranging from $1M to $30M.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
• Direct field personnel to complete the project on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules and identify problems.
• Order materials and schedule inspections as needed.
• Review project plans and specifications and provide field feedback.
• Lead the project team in planning and execution of work plans and submittals.
• Maintain relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and staff.
• Promote site safety and address hazards promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Prepare field reports and payment applications.
• Perform constructability reviews and value engineering with design teams.
