Job summary

BCCI Construction Company in Dallas is seeking a Senior Superintendent to oversee daily job-site operations, directing scheduling, production, and procurement, and supervising direct labor and contracted work to ensure on-time project completion. This role requires 100% travel to projects and strong leadership to coordinate with managers, subcontractors, and clients.

You will read blueprints, manage crews, control costs, prepare the Project Management Plan, ensure safety and quality, and apply

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related field or equivalent; 5+ years large scale commercial construction experience.
• Experience leading multiple projects valued at $200M+.
• Travel readiness; valid driver's license.
• Reads blueprints and understands codes; applies design requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership to manage crews and subcontractors.
• Spanish basic knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan procedures and staffing for each construction phase based on specifications and start/finish times.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to determine schedules and use look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings with the Project Manager.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to meet work schedules.
• Communicate progress to clients, subcontractors, and craft personnel; resolve issues.
• Resolve labor/contractor issues with management and labor reps.
• Inspect work to ensure conformance to specifications and schedules.
• Manage project progress and costs; adjust schedules as needed.
