Job summary

The Austin Company is seeking a Senior Superintendent to organize and supervise all aspects of construction on larger projects and to ensure compliance with construction documents, specifications, codes, schedules, and budgets. The Senior Superintendent will oversee the project’s Superintendents and Assistants, providing the leadership needed to maintain day-to-day operations on the assigned project.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction field operations experience or skilled trades leadership.
• A 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Function as the overall lead in the field on large projects.
• Ensure safety procedures related to construction activities.
• Coordinate and communicate all field activities with Engineering, Estimating, Purchasing, Project Management and Accounting.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-efficient project execution.
• Prepare and input daily progress reports and field documentation into project management systems.
