Job summary

BCCI Construction Company is seeking a Senior Superintendent who will oversee day-to-day operations of a traveling job site, coordinating scheduling, production, and procurement across phases. The role requires directing labor and subcontractors to ensure timely completion and adherence to project plans.

Qualified candidates have at least 5 years in large-scale commercial construction, a related bachelor’s degree, and the ability to travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of large scale commercial construction experience.
• Experience leading mission critical, life science, semiconductor or similar projects.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Understanding of building codes and ability to read blueprints.
• Strong written and verbal communication; basic Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan procedures based on specifications, staffing, and equipment needs for each construction phase.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to determine project schedule and use look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings and procurement of tools/materials to meet schedules.
• Direct labor and subcontractor coordination; resolve issues to prevent delays.
• Monitor progress, cost, and resources; adjust schedules accordingly.
• Ensure safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping are maintained.
