Jobot seeks a Permanent Superintendent to oversee on-site construction, drive schedules, budgets, and safety compliance on projects across the USA. You will coordinate with architects/engineers, manage subcontractors, and ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a superintendent in the construction industry.
• Experience with budgeting and scheduling, contract management, blueprint reading and subcontractor management.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations and safety practices.
• Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; relevant certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design, specs, regulations, timelines, and safety codes.
• Develop and manage project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Oversee budgeting, contracting, and procurement for cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with architects/engineers to interpret designs and execute plans.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure quality workmanship and timelines.
• Ensure activities align with building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement construction plans and handle changes as needed.
• Address issues with strong problem-solving skills.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing team to collaborate and innovate.
