Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Superintendent for heavy civil projects in the United States. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of construction management experience on large-scale projects, with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget.

A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred, along with strong knowledge of OSHA safety protocols and reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or related field.
• Experience with excavating, demolition, paving, concrete, highways or roadways.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure work meets plans and specs.
• Implement quality control programs to meet client expectations.
• Develop and implement safety programs to maintain a safe site.
• Conduct site inspections for safety and quality compliance.
• Manage project risks, including identification, analysis, and mitigation.
• Monitor progress and adjust to stay on scope.
• Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and team members.
• Resolve issues or disputes promptly during construction.
